Leroy Bascombe, owner of Lean Body Studio, has worked in the fitness industry for more than 15 years. After working and being a part of many fitness organizations, Leroy has seen the value and the importance of working with a personal trainer and the importance of staying in shape.  Leroy has an athletic background competing in various sports including track and field, basketball and hockey.  He also played at the university level in the United States and professionally abroad. His clients vary from stay at home parents to individuals looking to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Sophie works as a part time registered nurse and fills the rest of her life with health and fitness. Certified personal trainer and spinning instructor, she knows how to keep it fresh and interesting with her creativity and passion for physical activity. She has a growing list of achievements from running marathons to cycling from Montreal to Quebec City and let’s not forget her interest for fitness competitions. Sophie is full of energy and knows how to motivate people whether you spend an hour in her group cycling class, in a one on one personal spinning class or an hour doing some personal training with her, Sophie a.k.a” The killer” will leave you with a smile on your face, a rediscovered love for fitness and yourself as well as a sore butt!

Rhythm Instructor/Personal Trainer

“I AM NO DIFFERENT THAN YOU, YOU CAN DO IT”

Sabrina studied dance for 15 years at Coffee’s Dance Studio. She competed and performed in a variety of difference dance styles from jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, latin and classical.

Before Sabrina’s journey into the Health and Fitness Feild. She achieved an honours degree in Business from York University and her Esthetics Cetrificate.

Always struggling with her own weight and body image growing up Sabrina decided to educate herself on health and fitness after the birth of her children. She quickly became passionate about weight training, aerobics and healthy living. After reaching her own weight loss goals she decided to take basic nutrition and become a certified Personal trainer and Instructor.

Sabrina pursued the fitness industry by also deciding to compete in fitness competitions where she has been quite successful. Sabrina has been involved in a variety of different training techniques.  In a search for something fun, challanging, and motivating to all, she began taking a Dance aerobics class that sparked the passion within. This class was the start of Sabrina’s goal to encourage people that they could have fun while getting fit. With all the experience of dance and fitness and some wonderful ideas from other instructors she began Rhythm Workout.  Fitness has no limitation it is for EVERYONE, Sabrina wanted to bring the art and fun of dance in a way that would empower, encourage and motivate people to be active.  She also works with elementary schools in the Brampton and Mississauga area to educate our youth on healthy living and teaches her Rhythm Workout to the children.

The Rhythm Workout is a fun dance aerobic workout that brings a wide variety of cultured music together to create a challenging and fun cardio workout for everyone.

Yoga Instructor

“Yoga is the science of training the body and healing the mind”.

Gillian began her studies at York University, achieving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.  After extensively traveling throughout South East Asia and living in the United Kingdom, she started her career in Web Media, specializing in the Health & Wellness sector.  She began her journey into yoga after a recommendation from one of her clients.  Gillian discovered that her Yoga practice provided her with improved circulation, posture, body awareness and sleeping patterns. Yoga was a source of healing in her life and has been her passion ever since!

 

Gillian received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification in Hatha, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga from Yoga Plus, a Registered Yoga School, located in Toronto.  Her classes focus on developing strength, flexibility and awareness while engaging breath, body and mind.  Her playful and light-hearted approach to Yoga makes her classes challenging and FUN!

 

She views her Yoga practice as a lifelong journey and continues to develop her practice by regularly attending workshops and classes with experienced practitioners.

 

Gillian believes that Yoga is a method of self-discovery – it helps you find yourself and find peace in your life.
